MMJ friendly vegan (27) I'm hoping to find another vegan or two to live with. I'm not interested in anything temporary, I'm hoping to find people to spend years with, and true friends. (That's why I'm posting on here.) I'm hoping to someday start a little homestead, and I'm looking for people with similar mindsets. I honestly don't know if I can do it. I really want to grow my own food, I want to get off the , and (as much as possible) off money. But.. I'm not a strong person, I hate bugs and can't stand spiders, I dunno if I'll be able to keep a little farm. But I do want to try, I want to work hard to at least get as close as I can to be as sustainable and local as possible. I figure maybe if I can gather enough other weak people around, we can do it together. We can help each other. I'm thinking my first step is just finding people. Forming a small group, and seeing if we can live together well. I'm currently living in an apartment in Lynnwood, it's very nice, and if you'd like to move in with me that might be possible when our lease is up in February. My current roommate might be moving back home, so I'm not sure if we'll be continuing to live together. If we are, he's on board with renting a house with other people, and I'm sure he could match me in rent. I do have some problems with him though, and in all honesty I think I'd like to live separately from him eventually. He's a very good person, but he has habits I'm having a hard time living with. After I find people, I'd like to start building up savings to buy some land, take some natural building classes, and build houses for everyone together. Or, if we find a good house, with a good backyard, I'd want to put in a bunch of raised beds. Maybe that's as far as I'll get. It's just a idea right now. I would absolutely love to go , get a little camper and go wherever for a few years.. buut I don't really see meeting anyone who can earn money on the go and also wants to travel.. at least not in the near future^^;; So. If you wanna room with me; pros: -I'm fairly neat. I keep it clean for the most part. -I'm willing to do some of your chores as well as mine. Whether it's in exchange for a ride somewhere, or just because. I'm willing to help out, I'll go beyond what I have to do. -I love cats, so if you've got one, or two, or , that's fine with me. Not sure if I'm willing to do litterbox duty though, and if I am, it ain't gon' be free. :p -I'm quiet. I don't really like to party, and I keep to myself most of the time. -I use mj mostly to medicate, not to party with. So it's never.. excessive. I'd love to bake with it if I ever got the opportunity though. I am a good baker.. -I'm not passive . That I know of. I try my best to nip small annoyances in the and let people know when I'm not ok with something. I believe honesty's teh best policy. -I'm flexible. If you keep strange hours, I won't mind. Dunno if this is a pro or a con, but, I'm to a lot of scents. Laundry soap, hair stuff, heavy makeup, perfumes and cleaning products (like bleach), a lot of them make it really hard for me to breathe. cons: -I don't go out. Like at all. If you like having a house to yourself for a few hours I'll be a bummer. -I'm not a kid or a dog person. I'm sure if you have em, yours are great, I like dogs a lot, and are ok, but living with them is just not for me. I maay make an exception for a dog. Veery slim chance. -I don't want parties. I don't want a bunch of people I don't know inside mah house. If it's 4-5 people for dinner or a game night or something, totally cool, but huge 20-30 crowds are... just no. -I'm an insomniac. I'm up at all hours. Doesn't mean I'm loud, but it does mean I'll be in the kitchen makin food at 2am some nights. I do think my is due in large part to outside circumstances though, so I might be able to solve it if I lived somewhere else. -I'm tired a lot. So sometimes chores don't get done as quickly as they should. If you're a clean freak, I will not be a good choice for you. But fyi.. seeing that someone's cleaned motivates me to keep up my end, so if you ask me to clean as much as you do, chances are I'll do it. -*I* really don't like non-cleaners myself. I don't want to live with someone who never vacuums, dusts, windows, the kitchen sink, counters, or the stove top. I'm fuckin sick to death of living with people that only do their dishes when they absolutely have to, and clean their room once every 6 months and think that's ok. *sigh* sorry, sorry, bit bitter.. I've never lived with someone who's neither a slob a clean *freak*, it'd be really nice to finally experience it. Anyway, if you're interested send me an and I'll get back to ya. All I want for Christmas is YOU Christmas is my favorite time of year...
