You were supposed to love me, and you were supposed to be my friend. And all of a sudden, you were gone.. I loved you, whole heartedly. And I began to actually believe that you weren't all the same. That somehow all the heartbreak had not been for nothing. That maybe I had experienced such disappointments prior, in order to realize what I really need and want and to be able to recognize when I found it. I believed in you. In us. I was a fool. I not only gave you my heart, but you had my soul. What I realized is...that as great as you are and as great as I saw us to be...I do deserve better. I deserve man who appreciates the time I make for him, as well as one who WANTS and DOES make time for me. I deserve a man who knows what a true woman, relationship and partnership means. One who respects my loyalty and will stand by me the way I do him. I deserve a man who will act on his promises and not just feed fairy tale lines. A man who isn't to want me, need me, fight for me when I have doubts. A real man. A gentleman. And although you could have been that man, you chose not to be...for whatever reason(s). You chose to run and give up on a woman who had your back through everything. All I asked for was a little of your time. Part of me thinks you just need time to get your life back from the accident....and maybe when you feel in control again you'll feel confident in yourself, and therefore us. And then part of me hopes you know you lost something real, something true. I want so bad to hear you say you messed up and want what we had back...but you broke my heart....for the last time. It would take more than super glue to even begin to help repair it, and knows a man isn't into extra effort if he can't even attempt a regular assignment. I hate that I still love you, but I always have and I always will. It just sucks that I don't trust you with my heart. I wish you the best , I really do....but if you happen to find it again, don't be . Don't push it away. Embrace it...for as scary as it may seem, living life alone is far more worse. Muah!!
